About

The University of Stirling is a campus university founded by Royal Charter on 13 November 1967, the first new university in Scotland for over 400 years. It began with 164 undergraduates and 31 postgraduates. The campus covers more than 330 acres of the Airthrey Estate near Bridge of Allan and has a loch, a golf course and extensive sports facilities.
