College of Saint Benedict, St. Joseph MN

The College of Saint Benedict is a private Catholic liberal arts college for women in St. Joseph, Minnesota, in the Benedictine tradition. It opened in 1913 with six students, growing out of St. Benedict's Academy run by the Sisters of the Order of Saint Benedict, and was the thirteenth Catholic residential liberal arts college for women in the United States. Fall 2024 enrollment was about 1,429 students, most of them undergraduates, and the college also offers graduate nursing tracks. Its teams, the Bennies, compete in NCAA Division III in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
