The University of Sindh was founded in 1947 and its main campus is at Jamshoro. The 2027 admission advertisement on the official portal says online registration was open from 10 August to 11 September 2026 (day-month format ambiguous), with bachelor pre-entry tests on 4 and 11 October 2026. A pre-entry test is mandatory for bachelor programmes with a 40 per cent minimum, while LLB (Hons) requires the HEC Law Admission Test at 50 per cent. Selected candidates pay fees and submit a printed form with documents to the Directorate of Admissions in Jamshoro. The university reported over 22,000 online applications for bachelor and BS third-year programmes in its 2026 cycle. Its news site says two campuses were separated.
