Schiller International University was founded in 1964 by Walter Leibrecht as a study-abroad programme that let Americans spend time in West Germany. It later added campuses in several countries and, in Florida, was based in Dunedin before moving to East Bay Drive and then Ulmerton Road in Largo by 2006. The school is private and for-profit. According to its current reference entry, headquarters and admissions are now in Tampa, with campuses in Paris, Madrid and Heidelberg, and the Paris campus moved in 2022 to Avenue Hoche near the Arc de Triomphe. The programme is accredited by ACCSC, with a 2023 accreditation noted. The input title and address list Largo, but that location is out of date. Detailed enrollment and admission figures could not be verified from official sources during this review and are left out, so the listing should be rechecked against the school's own pages before more is added.
