National University of Health Sciences (NUHS) is a private health sciences university at 200 E. Roosevelt Road in Lombard, Illinois. It was founded in 1906 as the National School of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, moved to Chicago in 1908, and relocated to Lombard in 1963. It became National University of Health Sciences in 2000. NUHS offers professional degrees in chiropractic and naturopathic medicine, master's degrees in acupuncture and Oriental medicine, a bachelor's degree in biomedical science and a massage therapy program. Its research output includes the peer-reviewed Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics.
