Middlesex University Dubai, a branch campus of Middlesex University London, was inaugurated in 2005 and has grown into one of the larger British university campuses in the UAE, now operating across two locations in Dubai Knowledge Park and Dubai International Academic City. It enrols more than 7,100 students from over 120 nationalities, giving it a genuinely international student body drawn from across the Gulf, South Asia, Africa and beyond, rather than serving a single dominant nationality group. Academically it offers an International Foundation Programme for students who need additional preparation before starting a degree, alongside undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in subjects including business, law, media, psychology, and computer engineering, spanning both traditional professional fields and newer technology-oriented ones. The campus is licensed by Dubai's Knowledge and Human Development Authority and holds a 5-star KHDA rating, awarded first in 2020 and renewed in 2022, placing it among the higher-rated private university campuses under Dubai's quality assurance framework.
