The Massachusetts School of Law (MSL) is a private, independent law school in Andover, Massachusetts. Secondary sources date its founding to 1988. A New England Commission of Higher Education directory lists it as a member institution, with initial accreditation in 1997, a last comprehensive evaluation in 2022 and the next in 2032. MSL has never been ABA-accredited and has criticized ABA standards, so graduates' bar eligibility is limited. A June 2026 Washington State Bar letter said the school 'may meet' a new definition of approved law schools. Its main program is the Juris Doctor, offered full-time over three years or part-time over four. Its website also highlights a new Master of Science in Law, joint degrees and concentrations, and says it is accepting applications for the Spring 2027 semester.
