Lesley University is a private university based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with its main campus near Harvard Square. It was founded in 1909 as Lesley Normal School, a teacher-training school, and grew into a university with undergraduate and graduate programs in education, the arts and design, counseling, expressive therapies and the liberal arts. Its College of Art and Design offers BFA programs. Lesley is test-blind for first-year applicants, meaning SAT and ACT scores are not required or considered, and it admits students on a need-blind basis. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis through the Common Application or Lesley's own application. BFA applicants submit a digital portfolio of 10-15 pieces, and interviews and portfolio reviews are otherwise encouraged but not required. The campus is at 29 Everett Street in Cambridge.
