Fatima College of Health Sciences (FCHS) is a non-profit private institution founded in 2006 in Abu Dhabi, part of the wider Institute of Applied Technology network, and it began by offering a BSc in Nursing programme at a time when the UAE was looking to build up a locally trained health workforce. Since then it has grown into a multi-campus college offering more than ten degree and diploma programmes across health-related fields, including pharmacy, radiography and medical imaging, emergency health and paramedic science, physiotherapy, and psychology, in addition to a healthcare assistant diploma aimed at entry-level roles in the sector. Alongside its main Abu Dhabi campus, the college operates branch campuses in Al Ain, Ajman, and Madinat Zayed, allowing students across several emirates to train close to home rather than relocating to the capital. Its programmes combine classroom-based study with clinical placements and practical training, preparing graduates for direct entry into hospitals, clinics and other healthcare settings in the UAE.
