Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation (DIDI) was founded in 2018 in the Dubai Design District (d3), announced under the patronage of Sheikha Latifa Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, led by TECOM Group and the Dubai Creative Clusters Authority. It was established through a collaboration between the UAE Ministry of Education, TECOM Group, and two renowned design institutions, MIT's Media Lab and Parsons School of Design in New York. DIDI offers the region's first Integrated Bachelor of Design degree, letting students map their own four-year path with concentrations in Product Design, Multimedia Design, Fashion Design and Strategic Design Management, combining visual literacy, technological fluency and strategic thinking.
