Crown College is a private evangelical Christian college affiliated with the Christian and Missionary Alliance. It began in 1916 as the Alliance Training Home in St. Paul and was renamed Crown College in 1992. Since 1970 it has been located on a 215-acre campus on Parley Lake in Laketown Township, Carver County, near St. Bonifacius, Minnesota. The college is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and its nursing programs by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. Wikipedia reports over 40 undergraduate programs and more than 20 fully online degrees, with about 1,320 students. Faculty and students sign a statement of faith. Its Polars teams compete in NCAA Division III in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference.
