Covenant College is a private Christian liberal arts college atop Lookout Mountain in Georgia, affiliated with the Presbyterian Church in America. The Bible Presbyterian Church's Columbus Synod founded it in 1955 in Pasadena, California, and it shared a campus with a seminary in St. Louis County before moving in 1964 to Lookout Mountain, where it bought the former Lookout Mountain Hotel, built in 1928. Its Wikipedia profile lists roughly 1,030 undergraduates on a 400-acre campus. The college reports its largest freshman class on record for fall 2025, about 30 percent growth in the freshman class over two years, a record 91.7 percent overall retention rate and 88.2 percent freshman retention. It has approved new majors in health sciences, Christian ministry and worship leadership, and renovated Sanderson Auditorium reopened in October 2025.
