The Conway School of Landscape Design is a small graduate school in Northampton, Massachusetts, that awards a Master of Science in Ecological Design. It was founded in 1972 by landscape architect and planner Walter Cudnohufsky, who served as director from 1972 to 1992. The school began in the town of Conway, in a converted sugar house and barn on the founder's property, and its first class had nine students. It later moved several times: it opened a campus in a renovated mill in Easthampton in 2015 and, in 2018, moved to a renovated historic Coach House in the Village Hill neighborhood of Northampton, where it is based today. Bruce J. Stedman is listed as director. The program is a ten-month course that admits roughly twenty students a year, and its official site lists application deadlines for the 2027-28 academic year, confirming that it is currently operating.
