Central Bible University, formerly Central Christian College of the Bible, is a private Bible college based in Moberly, Missouri. Its history page says a steering committee met in Chillicothe in February 1957 and chose to start the college in Moberly, the state issued its certificate of incorporation on March 11, 1957, and the first convocation was held September 3, 1957. Effective June 1, 2026, the school changed its name to Central Bible University. It is accredited by the Association for Biblical Higher Education and offers certificates and associate, baccalaureate and master's degrees. It reached candidate status with the Higher Learning Commission in 2013. Locations include Moberly, Florence (Kentucky), St. Louis (added through its 2022 merger with St. Louis Christian College) and online. David Fincher, a 1993 graduate, has been president since 2014.
