The Boston Architectural College (BAC) is a private college in Boston's Back Bay, at 320 Newbury Street, dedicated to architecture and design education. It began in 1889 as the Boston Architectural Club and is known for pairing classroom study with required professional practice experience. Programs span architecture, interior design and landscape architecture, and the BAC offers an Online Bachelor of Science in Architecture alongside on-campus and online master's programs. Onsite degree programs have open admission with decisions on a rolling basis, and the application fee is waived for fall 2026 applicants. SAT and ACT scores are not used. Applicants submit an essay, a creative sample or portfolio, a recommendation and a resume, and non-native English speakers must show English proficiency.
