Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College, listed here as Barnes Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing, is a private nursing school in St. Louis, Missouri, on the Washington University Medical Campus and Barnes-Jewish Hospital campus. Its origin dates to 1902 as the Jewish Hospital School of Nursing. The Barnes Hospital School of Nursing was established in 1955 after Washington University's nursing program dissolved. The two merged in 2005, dropped allied health programs in 2007 to focus on nursing, and in 2007 philanthropist Alvin Goldfarb donated $5 million and the school was renamed in his honor. Goldfarb Hall, a $40 million facility, opened in 2008. Programs include the BSN, MSN, DNP, a PhD in Nursing Science and a post-graduate APRN certificate. It is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and its nursing programs by the CCNE.
