Simon's Rock at Bard College is an early college entrance program, part of Bard College, that admits students after tenth or eleventh grade. It was founded in 1964 as a liberal arts college and operated in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, until summer 2025. After Bard announced in November 2024 that the Great Barrington campus would close because of declining enrollment, the program moved to the Massena Campus, a former seminary site in Barrytown, New York, near Annandale-on-Hudson. Most students earn an Associate of Arts in two years, and many stay two more years to earn a Bachelor of Arts from Bard College. A 3/2 dual-degree engineering program with Columbia University and Dartmouth College is also offered. Its website lists its address as 30 Seminary Drive, Barrytown, and invites new applicants. Notable alumni include the Coen brothers and Ronan Farrow.
