Abu Dhabi University (ADU) is a private university whose charter was developed under Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, opening in 2003 with about 1,000 students across campuses in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, later adding a third campus in Dubai in 2017/18. ADU is organised into six colleges, Arts and Sciences, Business, Education, Engineering, Law, and Health Sciences, together offering more than 65 internationally accredited undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Beyond regular degree students, the university also delivers corporate training and dedicated programmes for UAE military personnel. Today ADU enrolls more than 10,000 students, making it one of the larger private universities in the country, serving both school-leavers and working professionals.
