A.T. Still University is a private health sciences university headquartered in Kirksville, Missouri. Founded in 1892 by Andrew Taylor Still, it is described as the world's first osteopathic medical school and was originally called the American School of Osteopathy. After several renamings it adopted its current name in 2001. The Higher Learning Commission accredits it. ATSU operates three campuses, in Kirksville, Mesa (Arizona) and Santa Maria (California), with seven schools and colleges offering programs in osteopathic medicine, dentistry, physical therapy and other health fields. Enrollment reached 3,717 in 2018-19 per Wikipedia. The Kirksville campus houses the Museum of Osteopathic Medicine, founded in 1934, which holds more than 80,000 artifacts. ATSU's admissions page says applicants find their program by degree or profession, and many programs use centralized application services.
