The Lovett School is an independent, coeducational college preparatory day school in Atlanta, Georgia, serving students from kindergarten through grade 12. It was founded in 1926 by Eva Edwards Lovett, who opened the school with 20 students in the first three grades in Midtown Atlanta. The school later moved to a wooded site north of the city and, in 1960-61, to its present campus of about 100 acres on Paces Ferry Road. Lovett was historically associated with the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta but is now non-denominational. It enrolls more than 1,600 students in its Lower, Middle and Upper Schools. The school also maintains Siempre Verde, a cloud forest property in Ecuador used for research and education.
