Nottingham High School is a co-educational independent day school on Waverley Mount in Nottingham. It was founded in 1513 as a free grammar school for boys, endowed by Dame Agnes Mellers together with aldermen and tradesmen of the town, and has occupied its present site since 1868. The school celebrated its 500th anniversary in 2013 and became co-educational in 2015. It educates children from Squirrels Nursery (ages 3 to 4) through the Infant and Junior School (4 to 11), the Senior School (11 to 16) and the Sixth Form (16 to 18), with around 1,200 pupils. Its four houses are named after benefactors, and it is a member of the Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference.
