Menlo School is an independent, coeducational college preparatory day school in Atherton, California, serving students in grades 6 through 12. Menlo began admitting girls in 1979 and became a coeducational day school. Today the school enrolls more than 800 students across a Middle School (grades 6-8) and an Upper School (grades 9-12), with a student-faculty ratio of about 8:1. The curriculum includes English, mathematics, computer science, sciences, applied science and engineering, history and social sciences, world languages and creative arts, along with global learning, internships and college counseling.
