The Peddie School is a private, non-denominational, coeducational college-preparatory school at 201 South Main Street in Hightstown, New Jersey, offering boarding and day programs. It was founded in 1864 as the Hightstown Female Seminary, an American Baptist school, and took the Peddie name in 1923. The school serves grades 9 through 12 plus postgraduate students on a 280-acre suburban campus. It runs a trimester academic calendar and a Signature Experience research program. Peddie has been accredited by the Middle States Association since 1928, and its teams are the Falcons.
