The Hockaday School is an independent, secular, college-preparatory day school for girls at 11600 Welch Road in Dallas, Texas. It was founded in 1913 by Ela Hockaday and serves students from pre-kindergarten through grade 12. The school is accredited through the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest and competes in the Southwest Preparatory Conference. Student publications include the newspaper Fourcast and the literary magazine Vibrato. The school announced in 2021 that it would phase out its boarding option by 2025.
