Sharjah English School (SES) is a British-curriculum, non-selective, not-for-profit school on Meliha Road, opposite University City, in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. It was established in 1974, when a group of British companies opened it in downtown Sharjah to educate their employees' children, and it later moved to its current site beside Sharjah University City. Primary pupils follow the Early Years Foundation Stage and the UK National Curriculum, while secondary students take GCSE and A Level qualifications. The co-educational school serves students aged 3 to 18, from FS1 through Year 13. Admissions are open throughout the year, and entry year groups are determined by the child's date of birth.
