Hutchesons' Grammar School is an independent co-educational day school in Glasgow for pupils aged 3 to 18. It was founded in 1641 as Hutchesons' Hospital by the brothers Thomas and George Hutcheson of Lambhill. The school operates on two campuses: the Primary School on Kingarth Street and the Secondary School on Beaton Road. The separate boys' and girls' schools amalgamated in 1976. Hutchesons' provides pre-school, primary and secondary education, with entry possible at stages from Nursery through to S6. Entrance assessments are age-appropriate, and the school states that there is no expectation that children prepare extensively for them. Information on fees, bursaries and school transport is available to families.
