The School for the Talented and Gifted, known as TAG Magnet, is a public college-preparatory magnet high school of the Dallas Independent School District in Dallas, Texas. It was established in 1982 as part of a desegregation court order and is housed mainly on the third floor of the Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Center at 1201 East Eighth Street, which it shares with other Townview magnet schools. TAG serves students in grades 9 to 12, with roughly 550 students in total, and is known for a liberal arts curriculum with Advanced Placement courses. Its extracurricular competition teams compete at state and national levels.
