Kent Denver School is an independent, coeducational, non-sectarian college-preparatory school for grades 6-12, located at 4000 East Quincy Avenue on a 200-acre campus in Cherry Hills Village, with an Englewood, Colorado mailing address. Its history begins in 1922, when Mary Austin Bogue, Mary Louise Rathvon and Mary Kent Wallace founded the Kent School for Girls in Denver. Denver Country Day School, a boys' school founded in 1953, later moved to the Cherry Hills Village site, and the two schools merged in 1974 to form Kent Denver School, which has been coeducational since. The school enrolls more than 750 middle and high school students. Its middle school building earned LEED Platinum certification in 2018.
