Cadet College Kohat

Cadet College Kohat is a residential cadet college on the outskirts of Kohat City, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, set on about 144 acres. It was established in 1964, and its first intake of 58 cadets arrived in April 1965. Its motto is From Darkness Unto Light. The college is overseen by a Board of Governors chaired by the GOC 9 Division, Kohat, with the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as Patron-in-Chief and the Principal as secretary. Entry is at Class 8, and cadets continue to the intermediate level in Pre-Medical and Pre-Engineering streams, with intermediate examinations through BISE Kohat. Lateral entry to intermediate classes in Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical and Computer Science is also offered through the college's online admissions portal.
