Dubai English Speaking School (DESS) is a British-curriculum primary school in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and the founding school of the Dubai English Speaking Schools group. It was founded in 1963, when its first ten children were taught in a small block of flats, and moved to its Oud Metha Road site in 1967 on land granted by the then Ruler of Dubai. The school follows the English National Curriculum for children aged 3 to 11, from Foundation Stage to Year 6. A second primary campus, DESS Academic City, opened in September 2025. Year 6 pupils are guaranteed a Year 7 place at DESS College, the group's secondary school for ages 11 to 18 in Academic City.
