After many years on its Al Bateen campus, the school moved to a new campus on Saadiyat Island in January 2024. ACS teaches an American, standards-based curriculum in English and offers both the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, introduced in 2007, and Advanced Placement courses, offered since 2018, alongside a college-preparatory American diploma.
