The Meadows School is an independent, nonprofit, coeducational college preparatory day school in the Summerlin area of Las Vegas, Nevada. It serves students from preschool through grade 12. The school opened on September 4, 1984, with 140 students in kindergarten through grade 6. Board President Carolyn G. Goodman, Head of School LeOre Cobbley and a group of parents led its founding. The school began in temporary buildings. It moved to a permanent 40-acre campus on Scholar Lane in 1988. It has four divisions: the Beginning School, Lower School, Middle School and Upper School. The school enrolls about 950 students. The Upper School offers 24 AP courses and Advanced Topics classes, and its teams compete in the NIAA.
