Oakland Community College is a public community college serving Oakland County, Michigan, with its administrative address at 2900 Featherstone Road in Auburn Hills. Voters approved its establishment in 1964 and it welcomed its first students in September 1965. Campuses are in Auburn Hills, Orchard Ridge, Royal Oak, Southfield and Highland Lakes, and the Highland Lakes campus is slated to close in fall 2025 under a restructuring plan. The Higher Learning Commission has accredited the college since 1971. It offers associate degree programs and other academic programs, plus workforce development, apprenticeship, emergency services training, welding and fabrication, and English as a Second Language. Its Orchard Ridge campus houses a culinary program with public restaurants.
