Founded in 1967 after about two years of effort led by the Oak Lawn Rotary Club, it held its first classes in 1968 in leased warehouses in Alsip. The main campus is in Palos Hills, with centers in Blue Island and Tinley Park. The college offers more than 130 degrees and certificates, with highlighted areas including health sciences and nursing, emergency services, mechanical technologies, music and engineering.
