Lahore Grammar School (LGS) is a private school in Gulberg, Lahore, Punjab. A group of women from education and other professions founded it in 1979 as a girls' school. They set it up in response to falling standards after the nationalisation of schools. The school opened at 55 Main Gulberg with a handful of students and has since grown into a large network of LGS campuses across Pakistan. The Gulberg school has three sites: the Senior School at 55 Main, the Junior School at 30 Main and the Primary School at 31 FCC Gulberg IV. It is affiliated with Cambridge International Education and prepares students for O Level and A Level examinations. A separate A Level programme has its own admission procedure.
