Government Graduate College of Science is a public college on Wahdat Road, Allama Iqbal Town, Lahore, Punjab, on a campus of about 45 acres. It was formed on 8 August 1973 by merging Government Superior Science College, Lahore, and Government Degree College, Wahdat Road, under an order of the Governor of the Punjab; Prof. M. A. Saeed was its first principal. For Intermediate classes it is affiliated with the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore, and for its BS four-year and postgraduate classes with the University of the Punjab. The college offers F.Sc. Pre-Medical, F.Sc. Pre-Engineering, F.A., General Science, ICS and a two-year DIT, and BS programs in subjects including Computer Science, Biotechnology, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Economics, Sociology, Mathematics, Statistics, Psychology, English and Education.
