D.J. Sindh Government Science College is a public college on Dr. Ziauddin Ahmed Road, near Pakistan Chowk in Saddar, Karachi, Sindh. Originally called Sind Arts College, it was founded in 1887 and is one of the oldest colleges in Karachi. The college is affiliated with the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi and the University of Karachi. Intermediate admissions in pre-engineering and pre-medical are made under Sindh's centralized admission policy. At degree level the college offers B.Sc. combinations from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Geology, Statistics, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Botany and Zoology, a Bachelor of Computer Science, and BS admissions in Computer Science, Chemistry and Microbiology. Its departments include Botany, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Computer Science, English and Geology.
