Brentwood School is an independent, coeducational, secular college preparatory day school in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, California, serving students from kindergarten through grade 12. It was established as a non-profit school in 1972, growing out of the Brentwood Military Academy, and added its upper grades in the following years. In 1995 the school acquired a second campus and opened its Lower School. Brentwood now operates two campuses a few blocks apart: the West Campus for the Lower School and the East Campus for the Middle and Upper Schools. The school enrolls about 1,250 students. Its liberal arts curriculum includes Advanced Placement courses in many subjects, alongside arts and an extensive athletics program.
