NHTI - Concord's Community College is a public community college in Concord, New Hampshire. It belongs to the Community College System of New Hampshire. The college opened in 1965 as New Hampshire Technical Institute with three engineering technology programs. It later took its current name to reflect a wider mission. NHTI sits on a 240-acre campus on the Merrimack River. It is the only community college in the state with on-campus housing. The college offers more than 70 programs, including nursing, dental hygiene, paramedic training, engineering technology, business, and criminal justice. Many programs are available online. The New England Commission of Higher Education has accredited NHTI since 1969. The college serves more than 4,600 students each year.
