Linn-Benton Community College (LBCC) is a public community college serving Linn and Benton counties in Oregon. Its main campus is at 6500 Pacific Blvd. SW in Albany, with other locations in Corvallis and Lebanon. Voters approved the college district on December 6, 1966, and classes began in 1967. The permanent Albany campus was dedicated in 1974. More than 13,000 students take at least one class in a typical year. LBCC offers more than 80 degree programs and certificates, along with transfer preparation, employment training, and continuing education. Its degree partnership with Oregon State University serves students seeking bachelor's degrees. The Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities accredits the college.
