Edinburgh College is a further and higher education college serving Edinburgh, Midlothian and East Lothian in Scotland. It was founded on 1 October 2012 through the merger of Jewel and Esk College, Edinburgh's Telford College and Stevenson College Edinburgh, following approval by Scottish Ministers. The college operates four campuses inherited from its predecessor colleges: Milton Road, Midlothian, Granton and Sighthill. It offers more than 700 courses in full-time, part-time, evening and open learning formats, including January starts, courses for school pupils and programmes for international students. Subject areas include art and design, computing, engineering, construction and building crafts, health and social care, hospitality, hairdressing and sport. The college is a registered Scottish charity.
