Brookdale Community College is the public community college of Monmouth County, New Jersey. Its main campus is in the Lincroft section of Middletown Township. The Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders created the college in 1967, and the first classes began in 1969. Brookdale also runs regional locations in Neptune, Freehold, Long Branch, and Wall Township. The college offers associate degrees in more than 68 programs, plus certificates and dual enrollment for high school students. Campus features include the Center for World War II Studies and Conflict Resolution, the Brookdale Performing Arts Center, and the public radio station WBJB-FM. Brookdale enrolled about 10,200 students in fall 2025.
