Anoka-Ramsey Community College is a public community college in the Minnesota State system, with campuses at 11200 Mississippi Boulevard NW in Coon Rapids and 300 Spirit River Drive South in Cambridge, Minnesota. It was founded in 1965, starting with 600 students in a wing of Centennial High School in Circle Pines, and moved to Coon Rapids in 1967. The Cambridge campus opened in 1978. The college offers associate degrees, including Liberal Arts and Sciences and Computer Science, as well as career-focused certificates and diplomas, transfer pathways, College in High School, and zero-textbook-cost Z-Degrees. It is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and offers programs such as Registered Nursing, Physical Therapist Assistant and Music.
